DETAILS:

-Location: Duvall, WA

-Ideal Start Date: June 2026/ASAP

-Child: 1 year old girl

-Schedule: Wednesday through Friday 8:30am-4:30pm

-Compensation: $28-32/hour with guaranteed hours, two weeks of paid time off, paid federal holidays that fall on workdays

One year minimum commitment required; ideally this would be a multi-year relationship!

The Family:

This busy, loving family of three is seeking an experienced, engaging nanny to partner with. The family loves to stay active going outdoors, attending Mariner’s games, and following WSU sports. Their 1 year old daughter is a happy, curious baby who loves to explore and learn about the world around her. She spends several days per week with her grandparents who live nearby, so the family is seeking part time care.

The Job Description:

The nanny will be responsible for ensuring a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for their daughter.

Typical job duties will include:

• Proactively plan and deeply engage in age-appropriate activities that support development and creativity, and nurture her curiosity
• Prepare and offer bottles, meals, and snacks
• Maintain safe, clean, and organized child-related spaces
• Manage child’s laundry and related daily tidying such as washing bottles and returning the home to condition it was in at the beginning of the day
• Maintain open lines of communication with the family to keep care consistent for their daughter

Nanny Attributes/Qualifications/Requirements:

The family is seeking a nanny with 5+ years of relevant nanny experience, and can provide stellar references. Their ideal nanny is someone who can engage deeply with their daughter, who genuinely enjoys spending time with young children, and who is passionate about their well-being. The family hopes to expand their family at some point, so they would love to bring on a nanny who also has experience working with infants and multiples.

Their ideal nanny is reliable and proactive with planning enriching activities (both indoors and outdoors), has child development knowledge, and possesses excellent communication skills.

The nanny should be up to date with all vaccinations, including DTaP, annual influenza, and Covid + booster. They should have a valid Driver's License, clean driving record, and a safe and reliable vehicle for use on the job. The nanny should be a non smoker/vaper, and be current with their CPR/First Aid Certification (or be willing to update asap).

Pay: $28.00 - $32.00 per hour
