Experienced Floral Designer

Job Overview
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Floral Designer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for crafting beautiful floral arrangements that meet customer needs and preferences. You will work closely with clients to understand their vision and bring it to life through your design skills. The ideal candidate will have a passion for floral design, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Create stunning floral arrangements for various occasions, including weddings, events, and daily sales.
• Communicate effectively with customers to understand their preferences and provide expert advice on floral selections.
• Maintain inventory of flowers and supplies, ensuring stock levels are adequate for daily operations.
• Utilize retail math skills to manage pricing and ensure accurate cash handling during transactions.
• Organize the workspace efficiently to promote productivity and maintain a clean environment.
• Assist with landscape maintenance as needed, ensuring outdoor displays are well-kept and visually appealing.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve store goals and enhance overall customer experience.

Experience

• Proven experience in floral design is preferred, showcasing creativity and an eye for aesthetics.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively in English; multilingual abilities are a plus.
• Familiarity with retail math concepts for effective pricing and cash handling practices.
• Excellent organizational skills to manage inventory and workspace efficiently.
• Experience in landscape maintenance is an asset but not required.
