Experienced HVAC-R tech

Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Experienced HVAC-R Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, refrigeration, and mechanical systems across commercial and industrial settings. Your expertise will ensure optimal system performance, safety, and energy efficiency. Duties

• Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC-R systems including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration equipment, and plumbing fixtures.
• Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and HVAC design plans to troubleshoot complex systems effectively.
• Conduct field service operations on diverse equipment such as ammonia refrigeration systems, appliances, and property maintenance systems.
• Utilize diagnostic tools including ohmmeters and welding equipment to identify issues and execute precise repairs.
• Diagnose mechanical problems using advanced knowledge of HVAC/R principles and mechanical systems; perform equipment repair with efficiency.
• Maintain detailed service records, complete inspection reports, and document all work performed for compliance and quality assurance.
• Ensure safety standards are followed during all service activities; operate a <PERSON> driver vehicle safely to transport tools or equipment as needed.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an HVAC-R technician with a strong background in construction environments and property maintenance.
• Extensive service technician experience with HVAC systems, refrigeration units, plumbing, boilers, and appliance repair.
• Proficiency in reading schematics and HVAC design plans; ability to interpret technical diagrams accurately.
• Mechanical knowledge of HVAC/R components including ammonia refrigeration systems and boiler operations.
• Hands-on experience with field service tasks involving equipment repair, welding, troubleshooting electrical issues using ohmmeters, and system diagnostics.
• Strong understanding of safety protocols related to HVAC/R work environments; valid driver’s license required.
• Additional skills such as mechanic experience, property maintenance expertise, or specialized knowledge in air conditioning systems are highly desirable.
