Experienced HVAC Technician

Job Description:
Mastertech Heating & Cooling / Best & Fast is looking for an experienced Master HVAC Technician to join our growing team. We are looking to hire true HVAC professionals who can confidently diagnose, service, and repair a wide range of systems in both residential and commercial environments.

The ideal candidate must have strong experience working with PTAC units, rooftop HVAC systems, central air systems, mini split heat pumps, and both residential and commercial HVAC equipment. This position requires someone who can troubleshoot efficiently, work independently, and provide high-quality service to our customers.

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose, service, and repair HVAC systems
• Work on PTAC units, rooftop units, central air systems, and mini split heat pumps
• Service residential and commercial HVAC systems
• Perform preventative maintenance and system inspections
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical HVAC issues
• Ensure systems are operating safely and efficiently
• Maintain professionalism and clear communication with customers

Requirements:

• 5+ years of HVAC field experience
• Strong experience with PTAC systems
• Experience servicing rooftop HVAC units
• Experience with central air and mini split heat pump systems
• Knowledge of residential and commercial HVAC systems
• Ability to diagnose and repair systems independently
• Valid driver’s license
• Reliable, professional, and detail-oriented

Preferred Qualifications:

• EPA Certification
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
• Experience handling service calls independently
