Experienced HVAC Technician

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Experienced HVAC Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing a wide range of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, refrigeration, and plumbing systems. Your expertise will ensure optimal performance and energy efficiency for commercial and residential properties. Duties

• Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain HVAC systems including unitary air conditioning units, Ductless and VRF systems and refrigeration equipment.
• Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and HVAC design plans to accurately diagnose issues and execute repairs.
• Perform plumbing tasks related to HVAC systems such as pipe fitting, leak detection, and drainage troubleshooting.
• Conduct equipment repairs using tools such as ohmmeters and welding equipment to ensure system integrity.
• Field service work involving appliance repair, property maintenance, and HVAC system upgrades across various sites.
• Operate a company vehicle safely to transport tools, parts, or equipment as needed for job completion.
• Maintain detailed service records, complete shift reports, and document all repairs performed for accountability and future reference.

Skills

• Extensive construction knowledge with the ability to interpret schematics and technical drawings.
• Proven experience as a service technician with a focus on HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning / Refrigeration) systems.
• Mechanical expertise in equipment repair including heat pumps, fans, compressors, and welding techniques.
• Strong understanding of refrigeration cycles.
• Familiarity with HVAC design principles to optimize system performance and energy efficiency.
• Proficiency in plumbing tasks related to HVAC installations and repairs.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and use diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters effectively.
• Experience with property maintenance tasks involving air conditioning units and mechanical systems.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record for safe transportation of tools or equipment.
• Knowledge of field service procedures with excellent problem-solving skills under pressure.

Pay: $18.75 - $27.00 per hour
