The Family:

A warm and thoughtful Downtown Seattle family is seeking an experienced infant nanny to help care for their daughter and become a trusted part of their family's life.

Their daughter is a calm, social infant who enjoys engaging with the people around her. The family is looking for a nanny who genuinely enjoys working with babies and understands the importance of responsive, attentive care during the first year of life.

The family values a developmentally focused approach to childcare and is looking for a caregiver who can thoughtfully support milestones through reading, conversation, tummy time, sensory exploration, and age-appropriate activities. They appreciate caregivers who are engaged, observant, and intentional in their interactions with children.

As first-time parents, they value the perspective of an experienced nanny and welcome thoughtful developmental guidance and professional insight. They are looking for someone who can confidently share their expertise while respecting the family's preferences, routines, and goals.

The family describes their ideal nanny as calm, proactive, organized, patient, and kind. They are looking for someone who communicates well, anticipates needs, and genuinely enjoys helping children thrive.

The family would be excited to find a nanny who speaks Hindi or Tamil, although this is not a requirement for the position.

Dad works from home approximately two days per week but has a dedicated workspace and respects the nanny's role and autonomy throughout the day.

The family currently resides in Downtown Seattle and anticipates relocating to the Eastside in approximately December 2026, likely in the Sammamish, Issaquah, or East Renton Highlands area. Candidates should be comfortable with the possibility of a future commute to the Eastside.

Above all else, the family hopes to find a nanny who is interested in building a meaningful long-term relationship and becoming a trusted and positive presence in their daughter's life.

The Job Description:

This is a childcare-focused position centered on providing attentive, loving, and developmentally appropriate care for an infant.

The ideal candidate is an experienced infant nanny who enjoys creating a calm and engaging environment where children can learn, grow, and thrive. The family is seeking someone who can confidently manage the day-to-day needs of an infant while supporting developmental growth through intentional interaction, play, and exploration.
