Who we are:

For over 30 years South Bay Design Center, Inc. has been the largest premier kitchen and bath remodeling company in the South Bay area, with our approximately 29,569 s/f Kitchen & Bath showroom inside of ATRIUM DESIGN CENTER located on one of Southern California’s most highly traveled routes. Our vision is simple; to have all aspects of home remodeling at consumers fingertips all under one roof. We are a full kitchen and bathroom design and construction firm and carry Poggenpohl, Dura Supreme, Bellmont, Medallion and Envoy cabinetry. We have over 10 full kitchens and bathrooms on display with more coming soon.

Who we are looking to add to our team:

This position is ideal for someone with a passion for design and remodeling as well as people. As a designer, you will collaborate with customers, assisting them from design and sale to project completion. You will be responsible for creating floor plans and elevations, preparing presentations for customers, closing contracts, and working with project managers, so you must also be willing and able to meet with customers on the job site to measure, check orders and have the ability to manage medium to high end clientele with patience and professionalism. Being well organized, responsible, efficient, as well as meticulous is crucial.

-Candidate must have seven plus (7+) years of kitchen and bath design and cabinetry experience.

-Candidate must be well-spoken, energetic, and detail driven.

-Candidate must be experienced and proficient in AutoCAD or 2020 Design.

-Candidate must be able to collaborate well with the team and be able to follow instructions.

-Candidate must be able to order cabinetry through vendors’ order-entry portals.

-Microsoft Office Suite, proficiency is necessary.

Candidate MUST provide good work/employment references.

Education:

-High School or equivalent (Preferred)

-Design Certificate or Degree is a plus

Salary: Base salary plus commission/top pay based on experience and qualifications. Approximate estimated $100k-$120k per year.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Schedule: Business is open 7 days a week 10am-6pm, position is fulltime with a flexible 5-day schedule. MUST BE WILLING TO WORK SOME WEEKENDS.
