Experienced Kitchen Steward & Prep Cook

Compensation

Hourly
$16 to train, $17 to start, plus $15 - $30 tip out per shift.

Opportunity for advancement for the right candidate.

Daytime, some weekend, & Sunday night availability a must.

Requirements

  • 2+ years kitchen experience
  • Some day, evening, and weekend availability, Sunday nights a must
  • Creative, innovative, and self-motivated
  • Team Player - must play well with others
  • knife skills

  • organizational skills
  • Ability to stay calm in high-volume environment
  • Ability to move with urgency when required
  • Comfort working in small spaces with other people

Responsibilities

  • Help with cleanliness and organization of walk-in and reach-in coolers, dish area, and dry storage
  • loading and unloading produce and protein orders.
  • Ensuring dish area is running smoothly and all kitchen tools are properly organized and put away
  • Ability to move quickly and efficiently between cold line, hot line, desserts, and dish area
  • Ability to execute instructions efficiently and accurately
  • Understanding of various cooking ingredients, equipment and procedures
  • Follow ALL standard Kitchen SOP's.

Pay: $22.00 - $30.00 per hour
