Compensation
Hourly
$16 to train, $17 to start, plus $15 - $30 tip out per shift.
Opportunity for advancement for the right candidate.
Daytime, some weekend, & Sunday night availability a must.
Requirements
- 2+ years kitchen experience
- Some day, evening, and weekend availability, Sunday nights a must
- Creative, innovative, and self-motivated
- Team Player - must play well with others
- Knife skills
- Knowledge of recipes and how to produce accurate results
- Ability to stay calm in high-volume environment
- Ability to move with urgency when required
- Comfort working in small spaces with other people
Responsibilities
- Help with cleanliness and organization of walk-in and reach-in coolers.
- loading and unloading produce and protein orders.
- Organization and cleanliness of dish area and storge facilities
- Ability to move between stations, from shucking oysters to cold line to dish pit to desserts
- Understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures
- Follow ALL standard Kitchen SOP's.
Pay: $22.00 - $30.00 per hour
