Experienced Litigation Paralegal

Overview
We are seeking a Experienced Litigation Paralegal with a required minimum of two years of experience to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will have experience in document collection, review and investigations on cases. Also legal drafting, research, and case management, with knowledge of various legal areas such as Insurance Defense, Civil Litigation, Family Law, Criminal Law. Working on cases in both Tennessee and Georgia. Knowledge of basic rule of Civil Procedure in both Tennessee and Georgia preferred.

Responsibilities

- Being able to know how to follow rules of civil procedure in Tennessee and Georgia on how to obtain documents and analyze understand and identify issues in documents, including medical records.
- Assist attorneys in preparing legal documents such as pleadings, discovery responses.
- Conduct legal research using resources like Westlaw
- Deposition and preparation and selection of exhibits and identify key documents.
- Draft contracts and other legal documents
- Assist in trial preparation and support attorneys during litigation
- Communicate with clients, witnesses, and court personnel as needed

Requirements
- Proficient in legal writing and documentation
- Familiarity with Westlaw
- Experience in litigating cases and supporting attorneys during trials
- Knowledge of various legal areas including Civil Litigation defense, Construction Law, and Insurance Defense
- Strong organizational skills for effective case management

- Must be a team player that works well with others

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $57,000.00 per year
