Experienced Medical Biller

Job Summary

Neurology Practice currently seeking an experienced medical billing patient account rep to join our growing team in Carlsbad. As a Patient Account Rep, your primary responsibilities will include entering patient demographics and insurance information, as well as charges and payments into EPIC.

Account Reps will also be expected to manage accounts receivable aging and days out for assigned accounts, generate claims, actively participate in collections procedures, research and appeal claim denials and coordinate re-submissions, in addition to any and all other clerical tasks as assigned.

Applicant should be extremely focused, honest, motivated and energetic. Applicant should pay excellent attention to detail, be team oriented, respectful and efficient with time.
