Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Nanny to provide exceptional childcare for a luxury family in Chicago. The ideal candidate will be passionate about child development, attentive to detail, and capable of creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for children of various ages. Responsibilities
- Provide attentive and loving care for children, including infants, toddlers, and preschoolers.
- Prepare nutritious meals and snacks tailored to each child's dietary needs.
- Engage children in age-appropriate activities that promote learning, creativity, and physical development.
- Maintain a clean and organized environment, including light housekeeping related to childcare duties.
- Administer basic first aid when necessary and ensure safety protocols are followed at all times.
- Assist with potty training, nap schedules, and daily routines to foster independence.
- Support children's educational development through teaching activities and interaction.
- Collaborate with parents to ensure consistency in caregiving approaches and communicate effectively about children's progress.
- Handle special needs or disabilities with sensitivity and appropriate caregiving techniques when required.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a nanny or caregiver, preferably within a luxury or high-net-worth family setting.
- Strong background in childcare, including infant care, toddler care, preschool experience, and babysitting.
- Knowledge of child development principles and age-specific activities.
- Certifications in first aid and CPR are highly preferred.
- Ability to prepare healthy meals and assist with basic cooking tasks.
- Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with parents and other caregivers.
- Flexibility to adapt to the family's schedule and specific needs.

Pay: $22.00 - $30.00 per hour
