Experienced Paralegal

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Paralegal to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of various areas of law, including business, contracts and Intellecutal property. As a Paralegal, you will play a crucial role in supporting attorneys by conducting legal research, managing documents, and assisting with case preparation. This position requires excellent organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.

Duties

• Conduct thorough legal research using platforms on various platforms
• Assist attorneys in preparing for trials by organizing case files and evidence.
• Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and contracts.
• Manage and maintain document management systems to ensure easy access to case files.
• Perform data entry tasks related to case management and client information.
• Proofread legal documents for accuracy and compliance with legal standards.
• File documents with courts and other relevant agencies as required.
• Collaborate with clients to gather necessary information for cases.
• Support attorneys during litigation processes by preparing exhibits and summaries.

Skills

• Proficiency in using legal research tools such as Lexis-Nexis and Westlaw.
• A strong understanding of motions, research, complaints, international law and Intellecutal law is preferred.
• Excellent proofreading skills with attention to detail.
• Familiarity with document management systems for efficient file organization.
• Ability to perform data entry accurately and efficiently.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with clients and team members.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving within a legal context.
