Experienced Preschool Teacher

<Responsibilities>

  • Design and implement comprehensive lesson plans aligned with early childhood education standards, including literacy, math, physical education, and Montessori methods.
  • Foster a safe, inclusive classroom environment that promotes positive behavior management and supports children’s social-emotional growth.
  • Develop and adapt curriculum to meet the diverse needs of children, including those requiring special education or early intervention services.
  • Engage actively with children to support their developmental milestones in areas such as childhood development, toddler care, and classroom management.
  • Collaborate with families and colleagues to communicate progress, address concerns, and support child welfare initiatives.
  • Utilize classroom experience and teaching techniques to enhance student engagement through tutoring, standardized testing preparation, and hands-on activities.
  • Maintain detailed records of lesson plans, student progress, behavior management strategies, and classroom activities to ensure compliance and continuous improvement.

<Qualifications>

  • Proven experience working with children in preschool or daycare settings, demonstrating strong classroom management skills.
  • Knowledge of early childhood education principles, including curriculum development and literacy education strategies.
  • Familiarity with special education practices, early intervention programs, and Montessori methodologies is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with parents, colleagues, and community partners.
  • Ability to plan engaging lessons that incorporate math, physical education, and other core subjects tailored for young learners.
  • Prior experience in private school environments or daycare centers is a plus.
  • Certifications in childhood development or early intervention are preferred; ongoing professional development is encouraged. Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
