Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Real Estate Attorney to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various legal disciplines related to commercial property transactions and management, providing expert counsel on complex legal matters. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on high-profile real estate projects, negotiate contracts, and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations. The successful applicant will demonstrate excellent research, drafting, and negotiation skills within a dynamic law office environment.

Duties

  • Draft, review, and negotiate commercial real estate contracts including leases, purchase agreements, and financing documents
  • Provide legal guidance on property acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, and development projects
  • Conduct thorough legal research using LexisNexis and Westlaw to support casework and transactional matters
  • Advise clients on estate planning related to real estate assets and land use regulations
  • Ensure compliance with environmental laws and regulations affecting property development and management
  • Manage litigation processes related to landlord-tenant disputes, zoning issues, or other real estate conflicts
  • Assist with due diligence investigations for property transactions, including title review and environmental assessments
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop strategies for complex negotiations involving multiple stakeholders
  • Prepare detailed legal documentation and maintain accurate records of all transactions and legal proceedings
  • Stay current on relevant laws including tribal law & regulations, securities law, workers' compensation law, personal injury law, immigration law, family law, patent law, and other applicable areas impacting real estate transactions

Experience

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school with active bar admission in the relevant jurisdiction
  • Proven experience in commercial real estate law or related fields such as landlord-tenant law or environmental law
  • Demonstrated expertise in legal research using Westlaw or LexisNexis platforms
  • Strong negotiation skills with a track record of successfully closing complex deals
  • Experience drafting legal documents with precision and clarity in a law office setting
  • Familiarity with litigation processes related to real estate disputes or regulatory compliance
  • Prior experience working with diverse legal disciplines including securities law, tribal law & regulations, workers' compensation law, personal injury law, immigration law, family law, patent law is highly desirable
  • Excellent writing skills complemented by strong research capabilities and legal drafting proficiency
  • Background in legal administrative tasks such as case management and document organization

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $77,592.29 - $85,000.00 per year
