A Truck Dispatch Sales Agent is responsible for acquiring new trucking clients (owner-operators or small fleets) by cold calling, promoting dispatch services, and closing deals. Work in fast-paced, night-shift environments, utilizing CRM tools, handling client negotiations, and building lasting relationships, typically for US-based logistics, with compensation including a base salary and commission.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development: Conduct cold calls and follow up with potential trucking company clients to promote dispatch services.
Sales Closing: Clearly explain service benefits, handle objections, and secure signed agreements with new carriers.
Client Onboarding: Manage the initial setup of new carriers, ensuring all required documentation is collected and accurate.
Relationship Management: Maintain ongoing communication with clients to ensure satisfaction, retention, and high service usage.
Target Achievement: Meet or exceed weekly and monthly sales targets for new client acquisitions and revenue generation.
Administrative Accuracy: Keep detailed, up-to-date records in CRM systems.
Required Qualifications & Skills
Experience: Proven experience in sales, telemarketing, or customer service, preferably in the logistics or transportation industry.
Communication: Exceptional English communication skills (verbal and written).
Negotiation: Strong persuasion and negotiation skills to handle rate negotiations and service agreements.
Technical Skills: Familiarity with CRM software, Microsoft Office, and basic internet research tools.
Flexibility: Ability to work night shifts to align with US time zones.
Industry Knowledge: Basic knowledge of truck types, load boards, and US logistics market operations is advantageous.
Pay: Rs30,000.00 - Rs60,000.00 per month
