Experienced Solar Installer/Technician

Sierra Roofing & Solar, a leading roofing and solar company in the Bay Area for almost 50 years is Hiring!! We are looking for a highly skilled, experienced, professional Solar Technician to evaluate, troubleshoot and repair small solar systems on residential properties as well as help pull permits, sit for final inspections, and do final walks with customers.

Primary Position Responsibilities:

• Company Vehicle Provided - Drive to various job sites-Install PV Solar Systems and Batteries (2-3 person crew, depending on job size)
• Document installations and details with pics.
• Perform final hook-ups and show homeowners how to use system.
• Assist with Final Inspections.
• Perform maintenance and repairs on systems when needed.

Position Requirements:

• Proven experience in solar installation, repair, and inspections
• Ability to assess potential issues with solar system and provide expert recommendations for long term fix.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving history
