Experienced Technical Writer

You will report directly to our Technical Publications Engineering Manager, and you’ll work out of our Northford, CT location on a Hybrid work schedule.

In this role, you will impact documentation quality, team performance, cross-functional collaboration, process efficiency, compliance, and customer satisfaction.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist in the creation of high-quality technical documentation.
  • Support the development and implementation of documentation standards, processes, and best practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather technical product information and ensure the accuracy of technical content.

YOU MUST HAVE

  • Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in technical writing for products.
  • Strong knowledge of technical writing principles, style guides, and documentation standards.
  • Proficiency in using authoring tools such as MadCap Flare, Adobe FrameMaker, Adobe InDesign, or similar.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
  • Ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to a non-technical audience.
  • Ability to understand product capabilities and translate information into technical documents.

The annual base salary range for this position $68,300 to $85,000. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline.
