Experienced Video Editor

We are looking for a highly skilled Experienced Video Editor to join our creative team remotely. The ideal candidate should have a strong sense of storytelling, a deep understanding of visual aesthetics, and the ability to transform raw footage into compelling, polished video content. You will work closely with our creative, marketing, and production teams to deliver high-quality videos that align with our brand and project objectives—all while collaborating from anywhere.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit and assemble raw footage into engaging video content for various platforms (YouTube, social media, advertising, corporate, etc.).
• Add music, sound effects, graphics, animations, and perform color correction to enhance final output.
• Collaborate with the creative team via remote communication tools to understand project requirements and deliver on style guidelines.
• Maintain a consistent visual style and brand identity across all videos.
• Manage multiple remote projects and deliver within deadlines.
• Review and revise edits based on feedback from directors, producers, or stakeholders.
• Organize and archive digital video assets and project files.
• Stay updated with the latest video editing trends, tools, and technologies.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Video Editor with a strong portfolio/showreel.
• Proficiency in editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, and familiarity with After Effects for motion graphics.
• Strong sense of pacing, timing, storytelling, and visual composition.
• Knowledge of audio editing, color grading, and basic motion graphics.
• Ability to work effectively in a remote environment, managing communication and deadlines independently.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with 2D/3D animation is a plus.
• Background in cinematography or photography.
• Understanding of social media trends and content strategies.
• Ability to operate cameras and basic production equipment (optional).
