Video Marketer Job Description

Educational Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Media Studies, Film Production, Digital Media, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in video production, video editing, or digital marketing.
  • Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or CapCut.
  • Familiarity with graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Photoshop, After Effects) is an advantage.
  • Understanding of SEO, social media algorithms, and digital advertising strategies.
  • Knowledge of content analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, YouTube Analytics, Meta Business Suite).

Key Responsibilities

1. Content Creation & Production

  • Plan, script, shoot, and edit engaging video content for multiple platforms (YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.).
  • Collaborate with marketing and creative teams to develop video campaigns that align with brand goals.
  • Ensure all video content reflects the brand’s tone, style, and identity.

2. Marketing Strategy & Optimization

  • Develop and execute video marketing strategies to increase brand awareness and engagement.
  • Optimize videos for search engines (video SEO) and platform-specific performance.
  • Manage ad campaigns across video platforms (e.g., YouTube Ads, Meta Ads, TikTok Ads).

3. Performance Tracking & Reporting

  • Monitor and analyze video performance metrics to measure ROI and audience engagement.
  • Generate reports and insights to guide future campaigns.

4. Social Media Management

  • Schedule and publish video content across social media channels.
  • Engage with audiences through comments, live videos, and interactive content.

5. Collaboration & Innovation

  • Work closely with designers, copywriters, and marketing managers to develop creative content.
  • Stay updated on trends in video marketing, editing styles, and emerging technologies.
