Job Title: Expert – Digital Content Developer

Job Location: Chennai

RCS Grade: L

This role will be responsible to design engaging digital learning content, create e-learning videos and presentations, and drive the digitization of manual and knowledge-based processes. This role enhances knowledge sharing, builds employee capability, and improves process efficiency across global teams at DHL Global Service Center.

Key Responsibilities:

Content Design & Development

• Design and structure clear, concise, and user-centric content for training modules, SOPs, process documentation, and job aids.
• Translate complex processes into digestible learning materials aligned with DHL branding and tone.
• Collaborate with SMEs (Subject Matter Experts) to gather information and ensure content accuracy.

E-Learning Video Creation

• Act as a creative centre to handle stakeholder content development request.
• Create high-quality, training presentations, business presentations, e-learning videos and interactive content using tools such as Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, Camtasia, or Vyond.
• Develop engaging visual and audio content including scripts, voiceovers, and motion graphics.
• Maintain a consistent visual style and instructional design principles across all learning assets.

Stakeholders:

• Work closely with business units and operations teams across regions to understand content needs.
• Manage multiple content and digitization projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and quality standards.
• Maintain an up-to-date repository of learning assets and support documentation.
• Provide technical guidance to line manager.

Management Responsibility:

• Individual contributor who may manage two or fewer employees
• May direct the work of other lower-level professionals or manage processes and programs
• Coach, review and delegate work to lower-level professionals

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Communication, Education, Digital Media, or a related field
• 5 - 8 years of experience in content designing & development
• Strong communication and storytelling skills for e-learning creation
• Ability to work cross-functionally in a global and multicultural environment.
• Creativity and innovation in learning design is required for this role

• Project management and stakeholder engagement
• Adaptability to new tools and technologies

Technical skills & experience

• Excellent Proficiency in any of the e-learning tools (e.g., Articulate, Camtasia, Vyond) and content platforms (e.g., LMS, SharePoint)
• Creating microlearning and mobile-first learning content
• Familiarity with digital (AI) based learning tools
• Adult learning principles & learner-centric design
• Designing engaging, interactive, and outcome-focused learning experiences
• E-learning authoring tools (Articulate 360, Captivate, iSpring, Lectora, etc.)
• Graphic design and visual storytelling for learning
• Video scripting, editing, and production (Camtasia, Vyond, Adobe Premiere, After Effects)
• Simulation and gamification design for learning engagement
