Expert GED Tutor

Swell Education, a boutique San Francisco Bay Area test prep company, seeks an expert instructors to help a student prepare for the GED. We have a great client base of nice families with motivated students seeking admission to top colleges and high schools.

The ideal tutor is charismatic, whip-smart, and comfortable with a high degree of autonomy. The position is remote. The student would like to meet twice a week, on Tuesdays and Thursdays, at 7am PST.

Candidates should have the following qualifications:

--Mastery of the GED

--Familiarity with GED prep resources

--Great communication skills and the ability to engage students

--Strong work ethic and desire to drive for results

--Degree from top college or university

--Minimum 1 year GED teaching or tutoring experience

--Availability to meet on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 7am PST

This is a part-time position: many of our instructors maintain full-time positions, explore other interests, or pursue advanced degrees concurrently.
