What is Expert Product Risk Intelligence?

As the Expert Product Risk Intelligence, you will be the analytical backbone of our product portfolio keeping a close pulse on performance, growth, and risk of Largest Fintech of Pakistan. You will turn complex data into actionable insights, ensuring our products remain healthy, profitable, and future-ready. What does Expert Product Risk Intelligence do?

• Continuously evaluate the quality and performance of lending portfolio, identifying emerging trends, portfolio risks, and early warning signals in repayment behaviour.
• Conduct portfolio and product-level analysis including churn, acquisition, and repayment trend studies to support sustainable portfolio growth and control credit losses.
• Assess financial performance of lending and wealth products, including revenues, margins, costs, and provisioning adequacy.
• Partner with FP&A and Risk teams for accurate financial reporting, month-end closings, and forecasting cycles, ensuring data integrity and timely insights for management.
• Contribute to business planning and forecasting through sound financial models and scenario analysis around loan growth, yield, and risk trends.
• Oversee the insurance, investment and merchant portfolios, monitoring growth, persistency, profitability, and income realization.
• Collaborate with Product Heads, FP&A, Risk, and Commercial Planning teams to provide actionable insights and improve financial decision-making.
• Prepare and maintain management dashboards and review packs that summarize key portfolio KPIs and financial metrics for senior management.
• Ensure full compliance with regulatory and prudential guidelines issued by SBP, SECP, and other relevant authorities, including accurate reporting and time to time audits etc.
• Support regulatory and internal audits, coordinate with compliance teams, and implement recommendations to strengthen portfolio governance and financial control.

Requirements

What are we looking for and what does it require to be an Expert Product Risk Intelligence?

• Professional qualification such as ACCA, ACA, CA, or equivalent, with strong grounding in financial analysis, reporting, and business performance management.
• 4–7 years of relevant experience in financial planning, portfolio performance, or risk analytics within banking, NBFC, or financial services.
• Solid understanding of lending products, credit risk principles, and portfolio performance dynamics.
• Working knowledge of regulatory and prudential requirements under SBP and SECP, including understanding of provisioning, exposure monitoring, and reporting standards.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint for analysis and reporting; exposure to analytics or BI tools (Power BI, Tableau) would be a plus but not mandatory.
• Exceptional analytical thinking, attention to detail, and a structured approach to problem solving.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills able to partner effectively with FP&A, Risk, Product, and Compliance teams.
• A proactive, commercially minded approach with the ability to challenge assumptions and drive data-backed decisions.
