Expert YouTube Video Editor (Long-Form Documentary Videos)

We are looking for a highly skilled and creative YouTube Video Editor to join our team full-time in-office in Hyderabad, Pakistan.

The ideal candidate has experience editing long-form YouTube videos and documentary-style content, with a strong understanding of storytelling, audience retention, pacing, sound design, subtitles, motion graphics, and cinematic editing techniques.

You will be working on high-quality long-form YouTube content focused on crime, mafia, history, and investigative storytelling.

Responsibilities:

• Edit long-form YouTube videos and documentary-style content
• Create engaging storytelling and strong pacing to maximize viewer retention
• Add cinematic B-roll, transitions, subtitles, sound effects, music, and motion graphics
• Use visual effects and editing techniques to keep videos engaging throughout
• Maintain high-quality editing standards and consistency
• Collaborate with the content team to improve overall video performance

Requirements:

• Experience editing long-form YouTube videos
• Strong understanding of retention-based editing
• Proficiency in:
• Adobe Premiere Pro
• After Effects
• CapCut
• Creative mindset with strong attention to detail
• Ability to work full-time from office in Hyderabad

Bonus Skills:

• Thumbnail design experience
• Experience editing documentary, crime, or history content
• Understanding of YouTube CTR and audience psychology
