Responsibilities

• Coordinate between the kitchen staff and front-of-house team to ensure timely delivery of food and beverages
• Assist with food preparation, plating, and presentation to uphold quality standards
• Serve guests with enthusiasm, attentiveness, and professionalism, ensuring their needs are met promptly
• Clear tables, bus tables, and maintain cleanliness in dining areas to promote a welcoming environment
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing and payments
• Support banquet events by serving food, bussing tables, and assisting with setup as needed
• Uphold food safety standards by handling food properly and maintaining hygiene protocols at all times

Requirements

• Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments preferred but not required; willingness to learn is key!
• Knowledge of food handling, safety procedures, and proper sanitation practices
• Experience with POS systems like Aloha or Micros is a plus; strong communication skills are essential
• Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads, and work efficiently in a fast-paced setting
• Familiarity with kitchen operations, food preparation, and guest services enhances your ability to excel in this role
• Previous banquet or catering experience is advantageous but not mandatory
• A friendly attitude combined with excellent customer service skills to create positive guest interactions
