Key Responsibilities
- Handle export documentation such as invoices, packing lists, shipping bills, certificates of origin, and letters of credit
- Coordinate with freight forwarders, shipping lines, customs agents, and transporters
- Ensure compliance with export laws, customs regulations, and company policies
- Track shipments and ensure timely delivery to international customers
- Communicate with overseas buyers regarding orders, pricing, delivery schedules, and payments
- Prepare export quotations and negotiate terms when required
- Maintain accurate records of export transactions and reports
- Monitor foreign exchange regulations and payment realization
- Resolve export-related issues such as delays, documentation errors, or customs queries
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, International Trade, Commerce, or a related field
- Knowledge of export procedures, INCOTERMS, and documentation
- Familiarity with customs regulations and international trade practices
- Strong communication and coordination skills
- Attention to detail and good organizational skills
- Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems
- Ability to work under deadlines
Preferred Experience
- 1–3 years of experience in export operations or international trade
- Experience dealing with overseas clients and logistics partners
Work Environment
- Office-based role with coordination across departments and external agencies
- May require interaction across different time zones
