Role Overview

The Export Finance Specialist will be responsible for overseeing financial processes related to exports, managing trade finance instruments, and ensuring compliance with international and Qatari regulations. This role requires strong knowledge of export finance, risk management, and international trade practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage export financing arrangements, including letters of credit, guarantees, and trade loans.
• Oversee documentation and compliance for international trade transactions.
• Monitor foreign exchange risks and recommend mitigation strategies.
• Collaborate with banks, financial institutions, and trade partners to secure financing.
• Prepare financial reports related to export activities and present insights to management.
• Ensure compliance with Qatari regulations and international trade standards.
• Support pricing strategies and cost analysis for export contracts.
• Recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency in export finance operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; CFA, ACCA, or trade finance certification preferred.
• 5–8 years of experience in export finance, trade finance, or international banking.
• Strong knowledge of international trade regulations, letters of credit, and financial instruments.
• Proficiency in ERP systems and financial reporting software.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Fluency in English; Arabic and Italian are a plus.
