Role Overview

The Accounts Payable Specialist will be responsible for managing vendor invoices, processing payments, and maintaining accurate financial records. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate with internal teams and external partners.

Key Responsibilities

• Process vendor invoices, expense reports, and payment requests.
• Verify accuracy of invoices and ensure proper approvals.
• Maintain accounts payable records and reconcile vendor statements.
• Prepare and execute payments in compliance with company policies.
• Monitor accounts payable aging and resolve discrepancies.
• Collaborate with procurement and finance teams to ensure timely payments.
• Assist with month-end closing and audit preparation.
• Ensure compliance with Qatari regulations and accounting standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in accounts payable or general accounting.
• Strong knowledge of accounts payable processes and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in ERP systems and accounting software.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Fluency in English; Arabic is a plus.
