Job Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Accountant to manage financial records, ensure compliance with accounting standards, and support budgeting, reporting, and audits. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of general accounting principles and hands-on experience in maintaining accurate financial statements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain general ledger entries, journal entries, and bank reconciliations.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable processes.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Support budgeting and forecasting activities.
- Monitor and analyze financial data to identify trends, discrepancies, and areas for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with local accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal controls.
- Coordinate with auditors and provide necessary documentation for audits.
- Maintain accurate records of financial transactions and documentation.
- Process payroll and ensure compliance with labor and tax laws (if applicable).
- Assist with inventory accounting, cost tracking, or asset management as needed.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in a similar accounting role.
- Solid knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Tally, Microsoft Dynamics).
- Strong Excel skills and familiarity with spreadsheets and financial analysis tools.
- Attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to meet deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications:
- CPA, CMA, or equivalent certification (or in progress).
- Experience in manufacturing, retail, trading & production industry.
- Knowledge of local tax laws and regulatory compliance.
