An Export-Import Executive at WorldRef Technologies is primarily responsible for managing and overseeing all international trade operations, ensuring compliance with export/import laws, and coordinating logistics and documentation for smooth cross-border transactions.
- International Trade Operations: Lead and manage import-export processes, including procurement, vendor management, and supply chain execution for global projects.
- Compliance and Documentation: Ensure all activities comply with international trade regulations and customs requirements, including preparing and verifying documentation such as bills of lading, invoices, and packing lists.
- Supplier & Logistics Coordination: Facilitate communication among vendors, logistics service providers, and internal departments to enable timely shipments and delivery, and address any issues arising during the process.
- Record Keeping and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of transactions, shipments, and documentation logs for audits and management reporting.
- Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the point of contact for clients and internal teams for gathering shipment information and resolving queries related to import-export activities.
Key Skills and Qualifications
- Knowledge of Cross-Border Trade: Understanding global sourcing processes, price discovery, supplier validation, and logistics mechanisms is essential.
- Attention to Detail: High accuracy in preparing documentation and compliance with all regulatory standards to minimize shipment delays or rejections.
- Industry Experience: Experience in handling exports for industrial goods (power, sugar, cement, steel, etc.) and familiarity with customs, freight forwarding, and export incentives is preferred.
