Key Accountabilities

Contract & Plan Execution:
Applies and maintains Client's Contractual Agreements by implementing and processing agreed export logistics operations and shipping plans.

Data Analysis:
Maintains data flow and prepares required analysis on international trade regulations and export standards to assist in managerial decision-making.

Booking Management:
Receives Booking Order Form (BOF) instructions from Logistics Operations Section Heads (OSH) to book slots, vessel spaces, or specific container types/numbers via sea or air freight for moving materials from the domestic Port of Loading (POL) to the client's Port of Discharge (POD).

Freight Negotiation (RFQ):
Sends Requests for Quotation (RFQ) to Third-Party Logistics (3PL) providers and Steamship Lines (SSLs), negotiating for the best freight rates and transit times in alignment with the Rate Target Policy (RTP) set by the Logistics Operations Manager (LOM).

Shipping & Insurance Declarations:
Issues Shipping Declaration Forms (SDF) to contracted 3PLs/SSLs and handles Insurance Declaration Forms (IDF) for air/sea export shipments prior to dispatching materials from warehouses or factories.

Export Documentation Control:
Prepares, collects, and processes all mandatory export and shipping documents, including Commercial Invoices, Packing Lists, Certificates of Origin, and Bills of Lading (B/Ls) issued by SSLs or 3PLs.

Customs & Destination Coordination:
Coordinates with customs brokers to complete domestic export clearance and ensures all international shipping documents are properly issued and dispatched to the global client to facilitate smooth clearance at the destination port.

Vendor Payment Follow-up:
Reviews, verifies, and follows up on payment requests and invoices from local freight forwarders, shipping lines, and 3PL providers.

Reporting & Database Updates:
Submits weekly statistical reports on export shipping activities, volumes, and KPIs, while continuously updating the Shipping Quotations Form (SQF) and freight rate database.
Qualifications & Educatio
nEducation
: Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
.Experience
: 1–3 years of relevant experience in
Export Logistics and Freight Forwardin
g
.Trade Knowledge
: Strong understanding of logistics principles,
ocean/air freight operation
s, Incoterms, and international trade regulations
.Systems & Platforms
: Familiarity with
Nafeza (ACI system
) and
Cargo
X platforms is highly desirable
.Software Skills
: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite;
intermediate to advanced Excel skill
s (for data analysis and reporting)
.Language
: Excellent command of English (both spoken and written) is mandatory for communicating with international shipping lines and clients
.Soft Skills
: Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills to deal with 3PLs and shipping lines
.Work Style
: High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple shipments under tight deadlines, alongside strong problem-solving and follow-up capabilities
