Role Snapshot

We are looking for a proactive Export Manager to join the team in Mumbai. This role is at the heart of our international operations, acting as the primary contact for all export related customer inquiries via phone, whatsapp and email. The ideal candidate will manage the complete order cycle—from handling client queries, payment follow-up, coordinating internally for export documentation, logistics and ensuring timely delivery. This position plays a crucial role in maintaining our reputation for high-quality service across global markets.

What You’ll Do

1. Export Sales & Client Support

● Respond to all international export inquiries from new and existing clients.

● Provide detailed quotations, product specifications, packaging details, and shipping information.

● Coordinate with internal team for export documentation, compliance requirements, and customs procedures.

● Support the sales team in managing international orders and maintaining client relationships.

● Handle all international and domestic sales inquiries in a timely and professional manner.

2. Customer Interaction & Domestic Support

● Address incoming business inquiries, recurring orders, and domestic client requests promptly.

● Ensure professional and courteous communication via phone, chat and email.

● Manage new distributor inquiries and ensure proper onboarding as per company process.

● Gather client feedback and implement improvements to enhance overall customer satisfaction.

3. Order Management & Fulfillment

● Oversee the complete order process, ensuring accuracy of product type, quantity, price, and grade.

● Collaborate with production, logistics, and quality teams to ensure timely order fulfillment.

● Track orders proactively and resolve any issues during processing, dispatch, or delivery.

● Monitor payment status, follow up on outstanding payments, and support payment recovery processes.

4. Documentation & Reporting

● Maintain accurate records of export and domestic orders, client communication, and delivery updates.

● Prepare regular reports on order status, export activities, payment tracking, and sales trends for management review.

● Contribute ideas for process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and client experience.

5. Compliance & Quality Assurance

● Ensure all orders comply with company policies, international trade regulations, and contractual obligations.

● Stay updated on export documentation requirements, shipping regulations, and customs procedures.

● Maintain quality standards throughout the sales and order management process.

Skills & Competencies:

● Strong knowledge of export procedures, international trade regulations, and documentation.

● Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; additional languages are an advantage.

● Highly organized, customer-focused, and capable of managing multiple orders and inquiries simultaneously.

● Proficient in sales order systems, logistics coordination, CRM, and order management tools.

● Able to work independently while collaborating effectively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.

What Makes You a Great Fit

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Commerce, International Trade, or a related field.
  • Min. 2–4 years of experience in export sales support, order management, or customer service—experience in FMCG, spices, or export-oriented businesses is preferred.
  • Proven experience handling international clients and managing export documentation is mandatory.
