Export Sales Manager

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry , Chemical Engineering , Industrial Engineering , Business Administration , or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in export sales of chemical raw materials , preferably with a focus on solvent-based and/or water-based polyurethane products .
  • Advanced proficiency in English (both written and verbal); additional languages are a plus.
  • Solid knowledge of market research, competitor analysis and product positioning in international markets, along with experience in export operations, customs regulations, and international trade compliance.
  • Strong customer relationship management skills with a track record of building and maintaining long-term partnerships.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in cross-functional and multicultural teams .
  • High level of organizational , communication , problem-solving , and negotiation skills .
  • No restrictions on international travel.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow the international sales portfolio for chemical raw materials.
  • Identify and develop business opportunities in target export markets .
  • Conduct regular customer visits , prepare and deliver technical/commercial presentations , and maintain strong follow-up to build lasting partnerships.
  • Responsible for managing both direct customer accounts and distributor relationships in assigned international markets.
  • Prepare price quotations , negotiate terms, and manage the order-to-delivery process in coordination with internal departments.
  • Drive both new customer acquisition and account development for sustainable growth.
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans aligned with company export targets.
  • Coordinate closely with internal departments including R&D, Logistics, Production Planning, and Finance to ensure seamless execution of export operations.
  • Take active part in or lead cross-functional projects related to export and customs processes.
  • Prepare regular sales reports , forecasts, and performance analyses for assigned regions.
  • Stay updated on market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to inform business strategy.
