We are seeking a proactive and results-oriented Export Sales Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for generating new business, developing client relationships, and achieving sales targets for our import freight forwarding services. This role is crucial for expanding our market share and strengthening our presence in the logistics sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and actively prospect new clients to generate sales leads for our export logistics services, including air and sea freight.
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with clients by understanding their business needs and offering tailored logistics solutions.
- Prepare and present competitive quotations and proposals to clients, ensuring profitability while meeting customer requirements.
- Negotiate rates and service contracts with clients and overseas agents to secure new business and close sales deals.
- Collaborate with the operations team to ensure a seamless transition of new business and to resolve any client-related issues in a timely manner.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in sales within the freight forwarding or logistics industry, with a focus on Export services.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Skills:
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong knowledge of import logistics processes, customs regulations, and INCOTERMS.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a competitive environment.
