Location: Karachi / Faisalabad Shift: Rotational / Shift-based (To support global operations)

Role Purpose

The export Shipment Manager provides critical administrative and operational assistance to ensure the seamless execution of global shipments. This role is designed for a versatile logistics professional capable of managing diverse tasks across various transport modes. You will act as a central hub, coordinating with vendors, carriers, and internal stakeholders to maintain high service standards and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

End-to-End Shipment Support: Execute and monitor the full shipment lifecycle, including booking placements, tracking, and tracing for sea, air, and land freight.

Stakeholder Coordination: Act as a primary liaison with shipping lines, airlines, transporters, and overseas agents to resolve operational hurdles and ensure timely cargo movement.

Documentation Management: Prepare and audit essential shipping documents (e.g., Bills of Lading, Manifests, Delivery Orders) to ensure compliance with international trade laws and company standards.

Process Optimization: Manage data entry and real-time updates within the company’s operating systems to provide accurate visibility for both internal teams and clients.

Problem Resolution: Proactively identify shipment discrepancies or delays, providing rapid solutions and escalating complex cases to the appropriate management level.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Provide high-level support to the shipment management team during peak periods, ensuring no disruption in client service.

Requirements & Qualifications

Experience: 2–5 years of experience in freight forwarding, logistics, or supply chain operations.

Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of global logistics, including Incoterms, container types, port procedures, and freight documentation.

Versatility: A "well-rounded" skill set with the ability to pivot between different types of cargo handling and operational tasks as required.

Communication: Strong professional communication skills (written and verbal) for interacting with local and international partners.

Shift Flexibility: Ability to work in a shift-based environment to accommodate various time zones and ensure 24/7 operational support.
