Key Functional & Technical Competencies
- Hands on Design and Release Experience in plastics trims especially in commodities like Wheel lip Molding, Wheel Arch liners, Cowl grille & extension dash panel (Plastic), Plastic spoilers, Door Appliques, Black out tapes, badges, decals, bumpers, either in a OEM or Tier 1 supplier
- Package and/or CAD (CATIA V5 / Unigraphics / TCE / VisMockup) experience is essential.
- Experience in Engineering Plastics material selection & Mold flow review
Demonstrated ability to lead the issue resolution process. A broad understanding of all major vehicle systems and a customer-focused mindset is required to facilitate this process.
- High energy, self-starter, with the ability and desire to take the responsibility to deliver results with minimal supervision.

- To work closely with design studio teams to review the feasibility of surfaces released and providing feedback and issue resolution.
- Overall project management
- Tracks AIMS & Concern status and supports timely close-out of issues.
- Providing analysis and resolutions on faults and/or errors
- Communicate issues with key stakeholders in a effective manner.
- Supports and enforces program specific milestone approvals.
- Create CAD & Support DPA & Physical Design Verification testing to support Engineering Sign-Off
- Support onsite launch support in both domestic and international VO Assembly Plants
- Support homologation / regulatory testing at test locations like ARAI, NATRIP etc.
