Duties & Responsibilities:

Develop and execute a comprehensive corporate communications strategy, encompassing the Strategic Business Plan (SBP) and Annual Operating Plan (AOP), including external and executive communications, Brand PR, and the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) communications plan.

Executive communication strategy and action plan for the Business Unit General Manager (GM) driving visibility and leadership on Performance With Purpose (PWP) with key stakeholders

Actively manage relations with media to ensure right corporate positioning of PepsiCo within the community and external stakeholders

Represent and support external engagements for PepsiCo with external bodies, government and strategic customers (e.g. industry, legal and regulatory) in partnership with Public Policy & Global Affairs (PPGA)/Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA)/business leaders

Oversee and execute all Public Relations (PR) and External communications events

Own and drive the communication aspect of the social impact agenda in Egypt

Managing Agencies and relations with NGOs and partners to further drive PEP agenda from communications aspect

Liaise and manage the partnership with PepsiCo foundation regarding the joint projects in Egypt from communications aspect

Drive brand communication and consumer PR for our portfolio and work closely with BU marketing team and category teams to support their cycle plan

Manage end-to-end Brand PR activities, including media relations, press releases, spokesperson positioning, influencer partnerships, reputation monitoring, crisis communications, and campaign measurement, ensuring consistent brand messaging and strong media presence.

Lead the planning and execution of corporate and brand events, including launches, media events, stakeholder engagements, ensuring alignment with business objectives and brand positioning.

Oversee social media strategy and content across platforms to strengthen brand presence, engagement, and reputation, ensuring consistency with corporate messaging and brand voice.

Oversee copywriting and development of high-quality PR and communications materials, including briefing documents, press releases, media kits, executive talking points, and messaging frameworks, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and alignment with brand strategy.

Own brand and corporate issues and crisis communication for countries covered: 1) Ensure speedy response and management excellence; 2) Pre-assessment of risk and mitigation excellence

Measurement, evaluation and reporting for all activities

Manage and support various BU key communication projects

Liase and coordinate the work with Global team members
Job Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field
-

7-9 years of experience working a similar role: private sector or government.

Strong communications, PR, and copywriting skills, with the ability to develop clear, compelling content aligned to strategic objectives.

Demonstrated ability to translate complex ideas into effective messaging and content strategies across multiple channels.

Excellent communicator in Arabic and English (both written and verbal).

Highly proactive and able to navigate ambiguity and complexity while developing successful solutions.

Well-organized with strong attention to detail while working in a dynamic fast-paced environment.

Ability to work collaboratively across functions, including comfort with supporting and interacting with senior executives.

Event management experience, including planning, coordinating, and executing internal and external events while managing multiple stakeholders and timelines.

Social media strategy and content expertise, including platform planning, content development, and live/event coverage to support communication and brand objectives.

Demonstrate ability to leverage existing resources and build efficiencies and effective solutions into PepsiCo processes.
