  • At EY, we’re all in to shape your future with confidence.
We’ll help you succeed in a globally connected powerhouse of diverse teams and take your career wherever you want it to go.
Join EY and help to build a better working world.

  • Are you ready to shape the future with confidence?

  • Here at EY, you’ll have the chance to build a truly exceptional experience. We’ll empower you with the latest technology, surround you with high-performing teams, and provide the global scale and diverse and inclusive culture you need to discover your full potential. Through our coaching and training programs, you’ll develop the skills you need to stay relevant today and, in the future, – all while building a network of colleagues, mentors, and leaders who will be on the journey with you at EY and beyond.

  • The opportunity:

  • Are you curious about how banks and financial institutions measure and manage credit risk? Do numbers, data and models excite you—and do you want to understand how they shape financial decisions in the real economy?

  • Join EY RAPID – ECL Valuation Audit as a graduate and step into the world of IFRS 9 Expected Credit Loss (ECL) from day one. You’ll work alongside experienced professionals and be mentored within high‑performing, diverse teams as you support audits of leading financial institutions across the Middle East and North Africa (MENA). Our clients span multiple geographies in the region, giving you early exposure to different markets, regulatory environments and portfolio types.

  • In this role, you will help evaluate how our audit clients design, implement and govern their credit risk models, including Probability of Default (PD), Loss Given Default (LGD) and Exposure at Default (EAD). You’ll gain hands‑on exposure to assessing model assumptions, model performance, staging, macro‑economic scenarios and regulatory compliance—bringing numbers, models and judgement together to support trust in financial reporting.

  • This is a unique opportunity to build strong foundations in quantitative risk, financial modelling and audit, while developing your career through a broad range of engagements, structured learning, on‑the‑job coaching and continuous mentoring at EY.

  • If you’re analytically minded, eager to learn, and ready to turn data into insight, this is where your career begins. What we look for:

  • You have an agile, growth-oriented mindset. What you know matters. But the right mindset is just as important in determining success. We’re looking for people who are innovative, can work in an agile way and keep pace with a rapidly changing world.
  • You are curious and purpose driven. We’re looking for people who see opportunities instead of challenges, who ask better questions to seek better answers.
  • You are inclusive. We’re looking for people who seek out and embrace diverse perspectives, who value differences, and team inclusively to build safety and trust.
  • Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in accounting, Finance, Economics, Business, Statistics, Financial Mathematics, Quantitative Finance, or other related disciplines.
  • Strong interest in credit risk, banking and IFRS 9 Expected Credit Loss (ECL) frameworks.
  • Foundational understanding of credit risk concepts, such as default risk, staging, impairment, portfolio segmentation and loss estimation.
  • Basic awareness of ECL model components, including Probability of Default (PD), Loss Given Default (LGD) and Exposure at Default (EAD), gained through coursework, projects or internships.
  • Understanding of how macroeconomic factors and forward‑looking information influence credit risk and impairment estimates is an advantage.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to work with data, identify issues and communicate conclusions clearly.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word, particularly for data analysis, documentation and presentations.
  • Any exposure to Python, VBA, R or similar analytical tools is a plus.
  • Progress towards, or interest in pursuing FRM qualification is desirable.
  • Exposure of financial or credit risk modelling, including building, reviewing or validating models (academic or practical), is an advantage.
  • What’s in it for you:

  • Accelerate your technical capabilities and transformative leadership skills with future-focused courses and development programs.
  • Broaden your horizons by working on highly integrated teams across the globe and collaborate with people of diverse backgrounds — both professionally and culturally.
  • Bring out the best in yourself with continuous investment in your personal well-being and career development.
