Job Title: Staff Nurse – Eye Hospital

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Staff Nurse to join our Eye Hospital. The nurse will assist in patient care, pre- and post-operative support, and ophthalmic procedures while ensuring high standards of medical service and patient comfort.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist ophthalmologists during eye examinations and surgeries.
• Prepare patients for eye procedures and provide post-operative care.
• Administer medications and eye drops as prescribed.
• Monitor patients’ vitals and maintain medical records accurately.
• Educate patients about eye care, medication usage, and recovery instructions.
• Ensure cleanliness, sterilization, and infection control in the eye care units.
  
  

Requirements

• GNM / B.Sc Nursing with valid nursing registration.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in an eye hospital or ophthalmic care preferred.
• Knowledge of ophthalmic instruments and procedures.
• Good communication and patient-care skills.
• Ability to work in a team and handle emergency situations.
