What You Will Do:

  • Supervise a team of material analysts and 3PL contractors to ensure parts are delivered on time
  • Work with LPM, warehouse, and operations to kit parts to schedule for engine build
  • Coordinate with Unit Chiefs and HMC staff to adapt to current conditions and meet HMC business requirements
  • Track shortages and inform different parties of responsibilities to fill shortages
  • Help to define and standardize processes within the HMC
  • Manages teams, committees, events and training that improve the material organization and support achieving Cell and Site CORE objectives.
  • Monitor the operations gated process of material movement to meet production schedules
  • Reporting on materials and logistics performance and revise and adapt plans as required
  • Interface and prioritize activities of the 3PL activity to ensure correct production focus to support cost, performance, and schedule requirements
  • Interface and prioritize activities of LPM team members, including coordination and follow up with item managers to ensure material is supportable

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience or a Master's degree and minimum 5 years of prior relevant experience
  • Prior material scheduling experience in an aerospace MRO environment is preferred.
  • Experience leading and participating in teams to achieve successful results.
  • An understanding of Microsoft Outlook and Excel functionality. Successful candidate must be able to work with minimal supervision on a wide variety of tasks.
  • US Citizenship required due to government contracts

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Day-to-day user of SAP, entering transactions and running reports.
  • Master's degree
  • Prior management experience
  • 10+ years of experience
  • Letter of recommendation

What is my role type?

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers, as they are essential to the development of our engines.

Candidates will learn more about role type and current site status throughout the recruiting process. For onsite and hybrid roles, commuting to and from the assigned site is the employee’s personal responsibility.

The salary range for this role is 101,000 USD - 203,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
