F5 WAF Engineer

We are looking for an experienced F5 WAF Engineer to support enterprise-level application security and data center migration projects in Dubai. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on expertise in F5 BIG-IP ASM/AWAF, WAF policy migration, security optimization, and troubleshooting within large-scale environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform migration of F5 BIG-IP ASM/AWAF configurations to new environments.
• Configure and support:
• F5 LTM
• ASM / AWAF
• APM (preferred)
• Execute WAF policy migration, tuning, and optimization.
• Support migration cutovers during maintenance windows.
• Validate SSL offloading, application connectivity, and traffic routing.
• Perform post-migration testing and troubleshooting.
• Prepare HLD, LLD, migration plans, and technical documentation.
• Coordinate with network, infrastructure, and application teams.

Required Skills:

• 5–8+ years of experience with F5 BIG-IP technologies.
• Strong expertise in:
• F5 ASM / AWAF
• F5 LTM
• Application security policies
• Load balancing & SSL offloading
• Experience in WAF migration and enterprise infrastructure environments.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.

Preferred Certifications:

• F5 Certified BIG-IP Administrator (F5-CA)
• F5 Certified Technology Specialist (F5-CTS – ASM/AWAF)

Added Advantage:

• Palo Alto Networks Firewalls
• Fortinet FortiGate
• Cloud WAF experience (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Data center migration projects
• Multi-vendor security environments

Preferred Industry Experience:

• Large Enterprise Environments
