Façade CAD Designer

Job Summary

Craft Facades is seeking an experienced Façade CAD Designer with a strong background in façade drafting and detailing. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in the façade industry and possess excellent technical drafting skills. You will be responsible for preparing detailed façade drawings, coordinating with design and engineering teams, and supporting project execution from concept to fabrication.

Key Responsibilities

• Produce high-quality 2D and 3D CAD drawings for façade systems.
• Prepare shop drawings, fabrication drawings, installation details, and material take-offs.
• Coordinate with design engineers, project managers, and fabrication teams to ensure accuracy and feasibility.
• Review architectural drawings and develop façade details accordingly.
• Ensure drawings adhere to industry standards, project specifications, and quality requirements.
• Maintain project documentation and version control of drawings.
• Support design reviews and site coordination when required.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a CAD Designer/Draughtsman in the façade industry.
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD (knowledge of Revit, Rhino, or BIM tools is an advantage).
• Solid understanding of façade systems, materials, and construction methodologies.
• Ability to interpret architectural and structural drawings.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and time management.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Must be based in Coimbatore or willing to relocate.
