Fabrication Lead

Essential Job Functions:

• Train incoming new hires

• Work with location manager to facilitate cross-training schedules

• Coach/train fabrication employees on how to improve their skills in order to produce a quality product

• Back up vacation vacancies as needed

• Fill in where needed

• Other tasks and duties as assigned my location manager

• Actively engage in safety of self of self and others at the facility, including holding customers and contractors responsible for best in class safety

• Produce a quality product with attention to detail

• Ensure orders maintain internal schedule to keep pace to be on time to customer

• Follow directions from manager to complete daily tasks

• Contribute to continuous improvement activities as needed

Basic Qualifications:

• 3-5 years’ experience in an production or warehousing role.
• Has advanced knowledge of manufacturing and shipping/receiving processes.
• 1-3 years experience in pruduction/inventory tracking software

Preferred Qualifications

• Successfully held a lead position in a warehouse environment.
• 1-3 years' experience in JD Edwards software
• Knowledge in utilizing showcase queries
