Fabricator

Key Responsibilities:

• Fabricate, assemble, and install metal structures, equipment, and machinery components.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications for fabrication projects.
• Perform welding, cutting, grinding, and other metalworking techniques to modify and repair equipment.
• Ensure the structural integrity and proper functioning of fabricated components.
• Conduct inspections and preventive maintenance to minimize downtime in production.
• Collaborate with maintenance and engineering teams to optimise fabrication solutions.
• Material Preparation and Assembly: -Prepare materials by cutting, shaping, and assembling components to create the desired signage structure.
• Ensure proper alignment, finishing, and durability of signage during the fabrication process.
• Quality Assurance: Inspect finished signs to verify they meet design specifications, quality standards, and client expectations.
• Address any defects or discrepancies during fabrication or installation.

Required Qualifications:

• Educational: - High school diploma or equivalent; certification in fabrication, welding, or related fields is an advantage.
• Experience: - Min 2-5 Years of proven experience as a Fabricator in an industrial or manufacturing setting.
• Proficiency in operating fabrication tools and machinery, such as CNC routers, laser cutters, and plotters.
• Good understanding of technical drawings and measurement techniques.
