Job Title: Fabricator

Job Purpose
The Fabricator is responsible for cutting, shaping, assembling, and welding metal components according to technical drawings and project specifications. The role ensures high-quality fabrication work that meets safety and production standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, isometrics, sketches, and fabrication plans.
- Cut, weld, and assemble metal components using tools such as grinders, cutting torches, saws, and welding machines.
- Measure and mark materials for cutting and assembly with precision.
- Fabricate structures such as frames, platforms, brackets, pipe supports, and other metal products.
- Perform fitting work, including tack welding, alignment, and preparation for final welding.
- Conduct quality checks to ensure work meets required standards and tolerances.
- Operate fabrication tools safely (shears, rollers, bending machines, drills, etc.).
- Coordinate with welders, supervisors, and QA/QC teams.
- Follow HSE rules, wear PPE, and maintain a clean and safe work area.
- Report equipment defects or material shortages promptly.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum 2–5 years’ experience as a Fabricator (UAE/GCC experience preferred).
- Ability to read fabrication drawings accurately.
- Skilled in measuring, cutting, welding, and fitting metal components.
- Experience with carbon steel, stainless steel, and structural steel.
- Knowledge of cutting, grinding, and fabrication tools and equipment.
- Basic welding skills (MIG, TIG, SMAW) are an advantage.
- Good understanding of safety procedures in fabrication workshops/sites.
