Fabricator

Our client, a well‑established and reputable manufacturing company based in Northern Ireland, is seeking an experienced Fabricator to join their production team. This opportunity is ideal for a detail‑driven craftsperson with proven hands‑on experience working across a variety of materials and a strong commitment to delivering high‑quality workmanship. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting efficient production, maintaining exceptional build standards, and contributing to a collaborative, safety‑focused working environment.

The Role
3+ years fabrication experience, with demonstrable exposure to a variety of product within the heavy duty/heavy engineering. structural steel/engineering industries across a spectrum of product/materials/specifications and thicknesses.

Key Responsibilities:

• Fabricate a range of assembly types to specification, working from fabrication or engineering drawings.
• Carry out quality inspections, identify defects and take appropriate action to rectify them
• Meet production targets while maximising efficiency
• Ensuring the safe and controlled movement of production parts
• Work as part of a team to develop continuous improvement ideas

Technical/Personal skills to include:

• Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings, technical diagrams weld procedures and CAD models to produce to customer specification.
• A strong Mechanical and Mathematica aptitude to calculate and lay out for the fabrication process.
• Proficient in fabrication techniques and principles with the ability to fabricate complex components using basic and common practice fabrication hand tools.
• Proficiency in welding processes procedures, methodologies and symbology.
• Understanding of the weld process to fabrications with appropriate application to weld prep and distortion applied.
• Demonstrate the ability to apply fabrication principles such as measuring, marking levelling, squaring, lifting, handling assembling and finishing in a safe, efficient manner.
• Display a pragmatic, problem solving attitude with a quality focused approach and attention to details
• Possess the physical stamina and manual dexterity to work in a fast-paced environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED13,000.00 - AED15,000.00 per month
