FABRICATOR INTERN ROLE SUMMARY
As the Fabricator Intern you will be working hands on with the construction and production of some of the most spectacular, custom, and one of a kind projects using a variety of materials. You will be integrated into projects across our many practices - Sports (both Professional and Collegiate), Corporate, Healthcare, Cultural/Museum and Entertainment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Uses various hand tools
- Possesses an eye for quality and detail and the desire to work on cool projects
- Works safely in and around a fabrication shop environment
- Enjoys working in a creative, problem solving manufacturing environment
- Fulfills other production duties assigned as needed
PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Knowledge of finish carpentry, cabinet making, custom woodworking, finishing, or plastics is preferred
- Ability to be a strong team player with a positive attitude and a great work ethic
- Knowledge of fractions, decimals - both standard and metric- as well as basic geometry
- Knowledge of reading and interpreting blueprints
- Ability to use various measuring tools
- Knowledge of fabrication shop procedures
ADDITIONAL DETAILS
The Fabricator Internship is an hourly (non-exempt), full-time opportunity that runs from June 1st, 2026 - July 31st, 2026. Applications will close on December 31, 2025. This is an onsite Monday - Friday internship in our Kansas City location. You must be at least 18 years of age, and currently enrolled as a college junior or senior or actively enrolled in a related postgraduate program. Please submit a portfolio with your application.

While performing the duties of this job, employees may be exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles and outside weather conditions.
