Welder/Fabricators

£33,957.00 (+20% or 30% shift premium)
We require skilled welder/fabricators who have experience of working to high standards in volume manufacturing, automotive or engineering environments. This position is on an ongoing contract basis employed directly by Komatsu. You will either work on a standard dayshift, 2-shift system or 3-shift system (2-shifts, early and late shift, carries a 20% shift premium, 3-shifts, early, late and night shift, carries a 30% shift premium) you must also be willing to work overtime, if required.
Ideally you will be an apprentice qualified Fabricator/Welder. However, it is not essential if sufficient experience and skill can be demonstrated. You will need to have welding experience with MIG bare wire process and be comfortable working from technical drawings. Applicants will need to pass a skills test along with a literacy and numeracy test.
Requirements
- Ideally time served metal worker (Welding, Plating, or Sheet Metal Work)
- 3+ years in a similar role
- Able to follow and achieve high standards of Safety and Quality
- A flexible approach and able to work shifts if required
- Available and keen to work overtime when required
Employees receive 39 days holiday over the year:
