Fabricator/ Welder

Job Summary:
We are seeking a Fabricator/Welder to join our team here at Supreme Surface Engineering Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for fabricating and welding metal components to manufacture Jigs, baskets and bespoke items for surface finishing and Aerospace industries.

Responsibilities:
- Utilise sheet metal to fabricate and assemble metal structures
- Operate hand tools and power tools for cutting, grinding, and welding tasks
- Perform welding techniques including tig welding
- Read and interpret technical drawings to ensure accurate fabrication
- Conduct basic mathematical calculations for measurements and dimensions
- Apply mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and resolve issues during fabrication

Skills:
- Proficient in various welding techniques, particularly tig welding
- Ability to fabricate and assemble metal components accurately
- Competent in using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment
- Strong understanding of basic maths for measurements and calculations
- Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot fabrication issues efficiently

Starting Pay at £13.50 per hour - rate dependant on experience

Working Hours

Monday to Thursday 07:30 - 16:30

Friday 07:30 - 13:30
