Fabricator/Welder

Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Fabricator/Welder to join our team.

The ideal candidate will possess a good background in welding and fabrication with experience in predominantly TIG with some experience in MIG.

Any skill sets in blacksmithing and hot work forming/ sheet metal work/ machining and bespoke finishing knowledge would be useful but training can be given to the right candidate.

This role requires attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work along with a good base knowledge of different metals and processes.

You would be helping to produce unique and bespoke items of work ranging from hand forged furniture and staircases through to high end interior metalwork in non ferrous metals. This would involve working both on your own and as part of a small team where necessary.

Duties include;

• Fabrication and assembly of metal components/ products according to instruction and drawings.
• Operation of power tools, machinery and hand tools safely and effectively.
• Performing tasks with particular attention to detail and final finishing.
• Setting out with accuracy.
• Maintaining a clean and organised workspace, adhering to health and safety regulations.
• Collaborating with team members to meet production deadlines and solve manufacturing and design related issues.
